Our 2013 Girls Triumphs in Missouri State Cup!

What an incredible journey it has been for our 2013 Girls team! They’ve just clinched the Missouri State Cup and are now headed to the USYS Nationals in Tennessee. It’s been a season defined by hustle, determination, and unmatched dedication, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single girl.

From the very start, this team showed up with purpose. On May 31st, they delivered a commanding 4-0 victory against St. Louis Scott Gallagher. That performance wasn’t just about skill but more of a testament to their relentless work ethic and the countless hours of practice that fueled their confidence.

June 1st was a day of back-to-back victories. First, they took down Carshield Surf 3-0, and then turned around to beat KC Athletics Academy Premier with the same score. These wins weren’t easy, and required mental toughness, physical endurance, and a belief in each other that never wavered. It was the kind of teamwork that can only come from a group of players who trust one another.

In the semifinals, they faced Steamers Crew Soccer Club in a tight match. But our girl’s grind shone through in a hard-fought 1-0 victory. That match wasn’t just won on the scoreboard but also was won in every sprint, every tackle, moment of focus.

The final match was a rematch against Carshield Surf, and they rose to the occasion with a 2-0 win to lift the Missouri State Cup. That victory wasn’t just the result of talent. This match was a won because of a season’s worth of dedication, early mornings, late-night training sessions, and belief in themselves.

All season long, this team has embodied what it means to hustle. They’ve shown up, every single day, ready to give their all. Their determination in the face of challenges and their dedication to their teammates, their coaches, and their goals has been the foundation of every win.

Coach Andre summed it up best: “So proud of these girls, words can't even describe it. They came into this tournament with high standards and big expectations, and once again they delivered.” Those words say it all. This team didn’t just meet expectations, they exceeded them, in every way.

As they prepare for the USYS Nationals in Tennessee, we stand behind them with immense pride. These players have earned every bit of this moment. Their hustle, determination, and dedication have set them apart all season long!
